Plumbing Markup Calculator
Set markups on plumbing parts, fixtures and labour so the whole job hits your target margin.
Result
Small parts carry the highest markup because the dollar value is trivial to the customer but the sourcing, stocking and van inventory cost is real. Fixtures carry less because customers can price-check them.

About this calculator
What markup do plumbers use on parts?
Small fittings commonly carry high markups (often 50–100% or more) because stocking a van with hundreds of low-value parts has a real carrying cost that the price has to recover.
Should I let customers supply their own fixtures?
Generally no. You lose the margin and inherit the warranty problem when a customer-supplied fixture fails. If you allow it, raise the labour rate to compensate.
