HVAC Field Service Software
HVAC field service software built for the phone in the van
Dispatch decides who goes. Field service is everything after they arrive, and it is the part most often still done on paper. A technician diagnoses a fault, writes it on a ticket, drives back, and somebody in the office retypes it the next morning into an invoice. Every one of those steps is a chance to lose a detail, and the detail most often lost is the one that would have sold the next job.
What the demo shows
- Open the job in progress: 19-year-old system, two recent repairs, already flagged
- Record readings and watch the temperature split calculate itself
- Work a 12-point maintenance checklist on a different job
- Sign on the screen and close the job into an invoice

What it does
The layer where the work actually happens.
One screen, not four
The customer, the property, the specific system and everything ever done to it, open before the technician knocks. No phone call to the office to ask what happened last time.
Equipment by serial number
Make, model, serial, install date, capacity, refrigerant, fuel, warranty and location. A property with two systems is where “we serviced the AC” stops being specific enough to act on.
Structured diagnostics
Complaint, readings, findings, diagnosis, recommendation: the same shape every time. The reference notes beside each field are working notes; the nameplate and the technician remain the authority.
Checklists that get finished
Pass, needs attention, failed or N/A on every item, with a note. “Needs attention” is the answer worth recording. It is where next year’s repair comes from.
Quoted and approved on site
Extra work priced from the same parts list, sent for a decision, and added to the job the moment the customer says yes. Work quoted from the van is the work that actually happens.
The job closes itself
Signature captured on the device, then the invoice, the agreement offer, the replacement estimate and the review request all run from what was already recorded. Nothing is retyped.
Interactive demo

HVAC Field Service Efficiency
How many hours your technicians spend on paperwork rather than on systems, and what one more job a day would be worth if some of it went away.
HVAC Callback Cost
What a repeat visit costs once the technician, the van and the lost slot are all counted, and what moving the first-time fix rate a few points is worth.
Technician Utilization
Split a technician's paid week into billable, travel and administrative hours, and see the utilisation rate your labour pricing should actually be built on.
Questions
What this is, and what it is not
How is this different from your dispatch product?
Dispatch answers who goes where and when. Field service answers what happens once they get there: the diagnosis, the readings, the checklist, the parts, the approval and the signature. Most contractors have something for the first and paper for the second.
Does it work without a signal?
The demo keeps working with the network off, because it is a client-side application and the whole data set is already in the browser. What it does not have is real offline synchronisation (no service worker, no sync queue, no conflict resolution) and the demo says so on its About page rather than implying otherwise. A production build for crawl spaces and plant rooms needs all three.
Does it diagnose faults?
No, and it should not. The measurement fields record what the technician measured and the reference notes beside them are general working notes, not specifications. The nameplate, the manufacturer’s data and the technician’s judgement decide what a reading means.
