Is the invoice actually free?
Yes. There is no signup, no watermark and no limit on how many you make. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent to us or stored anywhere.
How do I get a PDF?
Press Download PDF. That opens your browser's print dialogue with the invoice already laid out for paper. Choose Save as PDF as the destination. This produces sharper text and smaller files than an image-based export.
Does this make the invoice legally valid?
An invoice is valid when it identifies both parties, what was supplied, the amount and the date. This includes all of those. Tax requirements vary by country and state, so check what your jurisdiction requires you to show, particularly around tax registration numbers.
Can I save an invoice and edit it later?
Not yet. Because nothing is stored, closing the tab loses the contents. If you need invoices that persist, number themselves and chase payment, that is what invoicing software does.
