About this calculator
How do I work out drive time between jobs?
Use your realistic average speed rather than the speed limit. In urban service work, average door-to-door speed is often half the posted limit once traffic, parking and stops are counted.
Why is my average lower than I expected?
Because average speed includes every minute of the elapsed time. A ten-minute stop on a thirty-minute drive pulls the average down sharply.
