Pricing Calculator
Build a price from your costs, overhead allocation and target margin, instead of guessing from competitors.
Result
Commission is treated as a percentage of the final price, which is how it is usually paid. That is why it has to be built into the divisor rather than added to cost.

About this calculator
Should I price from cost or from the market?
Cost sets your floor and the market sets your ceiling. Knowing the floor is what stops you accepting work below it: if the market will not pay your floor, the problem is cost structure, not pricing.
How do I allocate overhead per job?
Divide annual overhead by billable hours to get an hourly overhead rate, then multiply by the hours the job takes. The labour rate calculators do that maths.
The formula
price = total cost ÷ (1 − margin − commission)
