How many kWh does a 1,500 W heater use?
1.5 kWh per hour of running. Four hours a day for 30 days is 180 kWh, which is a significant share of a typical household bill.
What is the difference between kW and kWh?
Kilowatts measure rate of power use; kilowatt-hours measure the energy consumed over time. A 2 kW appliance running three hours uses 6 kWh.
