Estimated Tax Calculator
Project a full year's tax from income to date, and see whether payments are on track.
Result
Not tax advice, and not a filing calculation. This estimates what to set aside using rates you supply. Brackets, thresholds, deductions, credits and state rules change every year and interact with the rest of your return in ways no single calculator models. Confirm anything that affects a payment or a filing with an accountant. Straight-line annualisation assumes income arrives evenly, which for seasonal businesses it does not. Where income is genuinely uneven, the annualised income method for estimated payments may suit better and is worth discussing with an accountant.

About this calculator
My income is seasonal. Does this work?
Poorly. Annualising a strong quarter overstates the year and a weak one understates it. There is an annualised income method for estimated payments designed for exactly this, and it is worth asking about.
What if I have overpaid?
The excess is refunded or applied to next year at filing. Overpaying is an interest-free loan to the government, but it is far cheaper than an underpayment penalty.
The formula
annualise income to date, apply the rate, then compare against what should have been paid by now
