What is the formula for Fahrenheit to Celsius?
Subtract 32, then multiply by 5/9. So 68°F becomes (68 − 32) × 5/9 = 20°C. Going the other way, multiply by 9/5 and add 32.
Where do the scales cross?
−40 is the same temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. It is the only point where the two scales agree.
