Why does HVAC use inches of water column?
Duct static pressure is tiny compared with refrigerant pressure, so it is measured in inches of water column. One inch w.c. is only about 0.036 PSI. A typical residential system runs around 0.5 in w.c. total external static.
How many PSI in a bar?
