$0 of recurring revenue, earning $0 on the agreements themselves and $16,074 on the work members bring back. The second number is usually the reason to sell them.

Agreements often earn little on the fee alone. They are worth having for the access, the retention and the work members buy without shopping around, so judging them on the fee margin alone undervalues them.

What moves the number

  • Annual fee and active agreement count determine contracted revenue.
  • Delivery cost must include the visits and support actually promised.
  • Repair income beyond the agreement needs its own value and margin assumptions.

Where this one goes wrong

An attractive membership fee can conceal an expensive inspection commitment. Define included tasks, visit frequency and exclusions before projecting profit. Additional repairs must be justified and approved, rather than assumed necessary to make the agreement work.

Questions

About this calculator

What belongs in cost to deliver one agreement?

Include the planned labour, travel, administration and included materials for the annual obligation. A visit's on-site minutes alone do not describe the delivery cost.

Does renewal rate reduce this year's fee income?

The tool shows retained members separately. Read the current-book revenue and next-year member count as distinct outputs rather than assuming it models every cancellation date.

Can I compare a simpler agreement?

Yes. Change both the fee and the actual service obligation. Cutting the price while retaining all promised visits does not create delivery savings.

How useful was this calculator?

Not rated yet. Yours would be the first.

The formula

recurring revenue = members x annual fee; total profit adds the margin on pull-through work

Before you rely on this number

Conductor sizing, voltage drop and load figures are governed by code, and the code takes precedence over any calculator. Ambient temperature, conduit fill, continuous load factors and the specific installation all change the answer. Treat this as a first pass, not a design.
